About Rachel’s yoga journey
Rachel is a full-time yoga teacher based in Queenstown, New Zealand. She started practicing yoga as a teenager, and found it helped her to challenge her strong healthy body, then move beyond it to a place of calm and clarity.
It took 20 years, a Business Degree, and a stint in corporate marketing for that initial interest in yoga to spark the idea of something more. In 2011 Rachel became a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher.
Since then she has completed courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, Sports Training & Development, and Mentoring, as well as becoming a yoga teacher training assistant with Tiffany Cruikshank and Yoga Medicine.
